Azul de lá (The blue over there) is a silent book and my first solo book, published by Abacatte. The book release in Santos took place during the GOMO Festival of Creativity, where I had the joy of being surrounded by many friends.
The back-cover text is by Roger Mello, the winner of the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2014, in the Illustration category.

There is much impulse in these invisible words. There is a silence that screams through the metal bars of the cage. Everything in Azul de Lá is a surprise, and yet we are the bird, we are the cage, we are the sky. The life contained within these limits is made of choices that are not expected. Above all, they will be the choices of the reader. Or will they not be choices? Simone Matias’s work had already amazed us with so much philosophy of the image, so much strength. And now, this immense, this unsettling blue"
